The Plastics Group (“TPG”) concept and strategy was developed in 1997 with the acquisition of Borse Industries a custom molding company located in Willowbrook, IL. Borse was merged with Pawnee Rotational Molding a custom rotational molding company located in Maple Plain, MN that same year.

The TPG concept and strategy was to provide highly engineered products and value added services from advantageous geographic manufacturing locations. 

The concept and strategy was further fulfilled in 1998 by the acquisition of Wedco Molded Products a custom and proprietary blow and rotational molding company located in Boucherville, Quebec and Fremont Plastics Products a custom blow molding company located in Fremont, OH. 

In 2006 the proprietary and custom blow molding from TPG’s Boucherville, Quebec operation was relocated to its US facilities. 

In 2007 TPG’s very successful rotational molding operation was sold allowing TPG to focus all of its resources on its core competency of blow molding.  Today TPG continues to thrive by providing highly engineered products and value added services to a diverse blue chip customer base.
